Sporting centers : |
Our Sporting Association is operating today in ten (10) DOJO-Sporting Centers. The Central dojo is at "Palasport Maria Stella PIPPI" located in MARSCIANO, but we also operate in "Secondary Schools Gymnasium" in Petrignano - ASSISI, at the "Fitness Club" di MAGIONE, at the "Gymnasium Albachiara" in GRUTTI and in MASSA MARTANA, at the Municipal Gymnasium" in COLLEPEPE and in PANTALLA, at hte Palasport of FRATTA TODINA, in the C.V.A. in VILLAPITIGNANO and at last in the Municipal FOLIGNO Gymnasium; every our dojo has at least two (2) Technical Teachers Instructors at disposal.
| Technical Training : | Our teachers have been trained and certified at the CONI- FIJLKAM (Committee Olympic National Italian Judo Lotta Karate and Martial Arts) School in Rome ; and they are qualified teaching, not only karate but also, thanks to C.A.S. (Centri Avviamento allo Sport), they also obtained and they are also qualified to teach the fundamentals of all Sporting Disciplines. | Teaching Method Activity : | Our courses which include: Aerobic Gymnastics, Psychomotion, Pre-Acrobatics and Stretching, are organized and promoted by our Technical Director and by twenty of our technical instructors, like: | Agonistic Activities : | At the moment, our Association includes 40 competitions Black Belts holders. Our pre-competition athlets have been representatived not only our Common and the Perugia's province from over ten years, but also Umbria Region during the final National phases of the "Youth comunity Games" (Giochi della Gioventù) .They obtained very good results and they always figured among the Italian "Top Ten". In the last ten years , in addition to the various qualifications and Pedagogical acknowledgements and awards from the Federation and CONI, we have received many titles such as: - 33 Gold Medals Italian Championship

Every year, in our Sporting Centers, we organize Meetings and Stages with Sensei of international renown and at least three regional competitions and one National competition and the proceeds will be donated for Social end Beneficial Works, Hospitals, Solidarity Associations, Corporations, Communities, families and/or persons who are particularly in need, etc. We recently adopted a distance no 5 children in Congo and Phlippines, we support 2 Combonian Missionaries in Central Africa Costa Rica and the ONG "Doctors without Frontiers"/"Medici senza Frontiere".

International relations : | Since 1986 our Association is the coordinator of the Italian National Karate (Goju-Ryu) Team’s activities, both at national and international. Since 16th september 1996 our Association is the official referee for the Governor of Okinawa ( Japan ) and for the Okinawa Karate Federation, for cultural and sporting exchanges. Okinawa Karate Federation is absolutely the most prestigious and respected Federation of its kind in the world, simply because it was here that our discipline was born. | Advertising and media : | Our Technical Director is one of the few Federal Teachers who has been invited to appear on Italian National Television to perform karate and self-defence techniques, even in Old Age. We rember the ten episodes recorded for "Fantastica Età" ("Wonderful-age"), gymnastics and Self-defence for the old age, were broadcasted from February to April 1995, and the five broadcasts of "Palestra in casa" ("Gymnasium at Home") conducted by Sydney Rome and broadcasted in September 1996. | Sport and education | The Academy represents for our students, a physical and spiritual growth. In addition to sports activities, in our school we also teach to students the basic priciples of oriental philosophy : mutual respect and fairness, in harmony with our Christian Ethics. | According to the most recent reports from C.I.O. (International Olimpic Committee), Karate is one of the ten most practised sports in Italy and in the world. It is gaining popularity because it is easy to practise and does not require special structures. 31 years ago a Sporting Association was founded and in those days, this sport was considered as an avant-garde sport (and we were not many to believe…) and now it has become the Sport of the Future.
